Z3 Interior Door Handle - Driver Side (Unpainted)

This is a quality replacement part! It is stronger than the original handle by far and I expect it to be a permanent fix. The fit is better than the original. Although the handle comes with a larger backing plate, I decided to do some additional reinforcing with fiberglass while I was in there. It's by no means necessary but an ounce of prevention......Not only did I reinforce the handle's anchor points, I also fiberglassed the panel clips to prevent them from tearing out in the future. (3DBimmer sells excellent replacement clips if you need them) I would have done both sides if my budget allowed as it is not a matter of if but when will the originals fail. Highly recommended!

Z3 handle broke on the driver side as what is common occurrence. I was considering purchasing a used one on eBay for around $200 with shipping. I was directed to 3d bimmer from an internet bmw forum. Ordering was easy, arrived timely, and well packaged. I also ordered color matching to beige and matching color was close. I think if my interior door card weren't 25yrs and darken through the years, it would have been a perfect match. Interior door handle is well engineered and better than original and fit was perfect. I will buy the passenger side handle as I am so impressed by the whole transaction. Thanks David!

We ordered an unpainted handle and David reached out to first confirm that we did that on purpose and then offered to match it to the color of our interior. Hand written note included with the order was also a very nice surprise. Will definitely use them again, when the need becomes necessary.

Serious upgrade to OEM. Hardware beefier than original. Great color match. Fit and finish is exceptional. Pricey but worth every penny.

Very satisfied. Worth the price, I decided to get the paint match and it looks original. Has quality hardware and a backing plate that is like 2x thicker than the original, making it feel very solid. Even comes with a cool sticker.
